[WARNING: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should your FLAMELESS BUTTERFLY LANTERN come in contact with an open flame!!!]

1.     Gently curve each spoke inward  from bottom to top

2.     Flip your lantern downside up and apply glue around the hole

3.     Place your large ring onto the bottom of your lantern, centering the holes

4.     Gently ease open the slits of the topper, so the tabs at the ends of the lantern’s spoke tips will slip through with ease

5.     One at a time, and with the topper centered, slip one tab up into each slit

6.     Fold the tab backward, and glue it down [Hold the tab with your thumb and index finger until the glue secures tab it by itself]

7.     Repeat step #5 until all 6 spoke tips are inserted up into the bottom of all 6 topper slits

8.     Glue your butterfly ring onto the top center of your lantern topper

9.     Just as you did with your lantern, curve inward, the spokes of the lantern topper

10.  Find a room, turn on  your phone’s flashlight, and shine it up through the bottom of your lantern.  Once you’ve found a safe place to sit or stand,  turn off the room light and enjoy the projection of your lantern, and butterflies on your ceiling and walls!
